Finally flew after months of tweaking

Featured Replies

I got carried away the last few months with tweaking and troubleshooting that I almost forgot how fun this 'game' is.British Airways Flight 522 started cold and dark with the PMDG 747 at Aerosoft's Munich. It was dawn and fairly cloudy (Active Sky Evolution's rendition of real-time weather.) Using Airport Enhancement Services, the plane was fueled, passengers boarded, food services stocked up the plane, and luggage was placed in the cargo hold. The plane was then push backed to the direction of the runway, and the take-off was flawless. The view over the alps was gorgeous, Ground Environment X Europe does justice to this part of the world. I was tracking my progress through FSXFollow on my iPad. The destination was Aerosoft's Nice Cote-Dazur, France. Radar Contact gave me vectors to the ILS and the landing was smooth. Upon touchdown, there was a follow-me truck that directed me to the gate. As I was taxiing to the gate, I could see the numerous European Airliners parked and taxiing curtesy of Ultimate Traffic 2. AES was used again to deboard the plane.Boy, I haven't had a flight like that (without CTD, black screens, etc..) in ages. Makes it all worth it.
