FSET : water transition not working after bitmap editing

Recommended Posts

Hi all,When using FSET to make water transitions with a KML file it is working fine when I let the program compile the scenery right away. However sometimes there are color differences on the used service maps, due to different seasons. On land I change the bitmap colors and then let FSET compile the scenery. The ascenery looks fine. The issue is when doing this and there is a coastline. When using a modified bitmap ( same name and a new FSMask bitmap has been made ) then there is no transition. Is there a way being able to modify a bitmap and still have water transitions ?All suggestions are welcome.Screenshot 1 : with modified bitmapScreenshot 2 : directly compiled without any editing

I'm a bit confused. Are you just altering the scenery BMP or are you also altering the Blend and Water Mask BMP? Not sure why just altering the scenery BMP would cause an issue.Rich
