Missing File for FEX?

Featured Replies

This morning I began to check my addon's and search for updates:To my surprise, I found that FEX was no longer installed. Ironically, on my backup drive, it had been copied, so I know it was there a few weeks ago and do not know what happened to it.Went to the FlightOne Sight, downloaded, and reinstalled FEX. The setup page comes up and everything looks ok. However, when I click on my Flight Environment X desktop shortcut, the main page displays, but there is a "Notification" window that pops up and says: "There is a new update available: Version; 2.0.0.3 can be downloaded from the main page. Please note that you will have to re-start FEX for update to work after installation."Somewhat puzzling as my window Main window displays: "Latest Version 2.0.0.3" which would seem to be what the notification said to download. (download is 2.03?)At any rate, from the Main Page FEX Status display, clicked on the FEX Support Forum for the update "to the version 2 series", file: "FEX_2.03.exe".Double clicked the "FEX_2.03.exe" file I just downloaded and tried to install it in my "C:\FlightOne Software" Folder. (The information page stated "You must install this update to the default install path to the folder where "Flight One Software" exists.")An error window pops up stating: "Flight Environment X Version 2.03 Update Install Program - Cannot install this program, a required file is missing."Does anyone know what I have done wrong here?Respectfully:RTH

Better luck here perhaps?Cheers,- jahman.
