Just received my new GF-WP-6 annunciator device. For some reason this think doesn't work

  • Running win7, upgraded .NET FRAMEWORK to Ver 4.3
  • Mounting the Panel to my GoFlight mini rack
  • Plugging in, USB all lights are coming, OS recognize device as WCP device
  • Installing WP6 & Gkeys Application
  • Lunching both of them & neither one of them is recognizing the GF-WP-6
  • The GFKeys does recognize my GF-P8

Any idea  YairP.SWould "LINDA" be able to help ???????????

That's because you ought to install the GFConfig driver instead (for the GF-P8 as well).Cheers,- jahman.

GFConfig is installad, GF-P8 runs fine, but, still, WGPCTester & GFKey they can't find the GF-WP-6 Sigh.gif

Try uninstalling GFKeys (not needed). Also make sure your GF-WP6 panel is properly connected/recognized via USB Deview.Cheers,- jahman.

..okay, jahmen...GFKey un-installedRestarted RigI see WCP on the Device listlunching WCPTester&Nothing, nada .......WCPTester tells me that "No WCP Detected"Hmmmph.gif

Is your USB port working? Can you check your device is working with USB Deview? (Can you try a different USB port?) BTW, here's the bit that confirms GFConfig support for GF-WP-6 (as it's not in the GFConfig readme file).Cheers,- jahman.

USB Dview, I see many HID but nothig specific about the GF-P8 & the GF-WP-6The link, BTW, take me to a page with graphic image, but, that's it.

Right, the the GF-P8 & the GF-WP-6 are not yet in the database USB Deview uses (Go_Flight is Vendor ID "09f3"), but still you can view your USB devices in real time as you plug them in and out. Also you can search the window for the device with the Vendor ID "09f3" in the Vendor ID colum, or the Last Plug/Unplug Date column. Note that evey column is sortable up/down just by clicking on the column name.Cheers,- jahman.

Also, can you confirm you installed GF Config v. 2.01? (Previous versions do not support the GF-WP-6.)Cheers,- jahman.
