December 18, 200322 yr Hey all, I got to thinking yesterday about multiple monitors for dragging add-ons such as FSNav to a second monitor...well, I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 sitting here and was wondering if it is possible to use it as a second monitor?? As you can tell, this is VERY new to me due to the fact that I may be looking foolish even asking this question :-lol Anywho, just a thought, if it is possible, is there anyone out there currently doing this? December 18, 200322 yr Never heard of such thing. Maybe there is a way to link them, over some module, but not just as a monitor, no. Only maybe if there's video "input". Who knows...Word Not Allowed
December 18, 200322 yr Not as foolish as you think, grasshopper!Actually, what you can use with the laptop is Project Magenta software, which is a program that links individual computers to run a single session of Flight Simulator. In practice it boils dow to this: with the Project Magenta Software you can have one PC showing your main panel and on another PC the left side view and on another PC the right hand view with no loss of performance.Ive seen one set up with 6 PC's and 9 monitors!
