Dear Friends and Pilots, after a long time without FS i want to start again. I lost parts of my mind and the whole FS stuff (PC, Software...) because after an accident i was in a hospital for over 8 month. I tell you this, because you could ask yourself what is he writing about. For me its a complete new start, so pleasse be patient if my questions make no sense for you :Batting Eyelashes: I own the Original Disk of FS9 and a couple of other FS9 software (Planes, Scenery, Addons, etc..) So, i dont want to upgrade to FSX.I have to buy a new computer. What is your suggestion abbout the PC System for FS9What MoBo, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc. do I need for a very good performance. Is WinXP better, or Win7?Please excuse my bad english, i am german and english is not my native language.Thank you for your answers :Praying: Wern

Hi Dario, thank you for your fast answer. I prefer a prebuilt system, i am not able to build it myself :Shame On You: My Idea was to order the complete stuff in a Online-Shop, they build it all together and ship the ready PC to my address. What is overclocking? My Budget is up to € 700.- excl. Monitor. Would that be enough? RegardsWern

Sure, 700€ should be enough. What's that online store? Alternate maybe?

That is one badass of a rig! and the price is great too. That thing can run FSX like a dream, so if you ever decide to take the leap, you are covered

If you are 100% positive you'll never switch to FSX, you could even get away with something not so powerful and save some money, like this oneThe one you linked has basically the same processor (at a bit higher frequency) and can be overclocked, which means that you can manually increase it's frecuency and therefore it's performance. That helps a lot in FSX, but it's not necessary for FS9The graphics card is a bit better tooSo in short, if you know you'll stick with FS9, pick this one: http://www.tecstore.net/Produkt/453536/PC-System-Gamer-Special-Pro-Aerocool-VS-4w-Intel-Core-i5-2400If you think you'll try FSX someday, this one: http://www.tecstore.net/Produkt/453387/PC-System--High-End--Pro-Sharkoon-AL4-Intel-Core-i5-2500K
