Hi PMDG.Can you please tell me what is meant by the "DEPARTURE BRIEFING" checklist item within the Pre-Flighht Checklist?What are the steps that are expected to complete for this? Is this documented anywhere within the PMDG Documentation?Thanks.Walter

Departure briefing involves going over the steps that come fast and furious along with ATC commands immediately after takeoff. This typically includes going over the SID as well as the special instructions of the SID and getting into the pattern. Some airports require noise abatement procedures such as maximum climb to 5000 ft AGL then reduce thrust. Also you go over emergency procedures such as engine out after V1.
