December 20, 200322 yr Hi AllMy apologies if this is the wrong forum but i wonder if anyone has experienced the problem of creeping whenever the aircraft is in slew mode, ill explain. When trying to design scenery selected aircraft and took off numblock and pressed 'Y' to enter slew mode. Instead of my aircraft standing still it is slowly moving to the right as i look at it. If i press 5 (freeze) it stops but once i release the key it continues to creep to the right. If for example i press 4 to move left it fights me and will go left eventually but still trying to pull to the right. The same happens when i press 8 to go forward or 2 to move back it ends of going in a north east direction if press 8 and south east if i press 2.I have a TOPGUN fox2 pro usb joystick installed and even slewing using the joystick, the creep to the right is still there. My apologies if im doing something very wrong but i cant see where. The joystick is usb and is automatically calibrated using THRUSTMAPPER. Can anyone give me a hint as to what might be wrong. As always thanx for taking the time to read this and any help is appreciated.Tom
December 20, 200322 yr Disable the joystick before entering slew mode. I had an old Gravis joystick that did that too. I believe it is either "k" or "Ctrl+k" which toggles the joystick on and off. R-
December 20, 200322 yr The joystick probably has a slight bias to the right or is noisy. Generally, joysticks with a twist grip rudder have a bias in one direction causing the aircraft to spin rapidly in one direction during slew. You can deselect all/some axes of your joystick slew mode, under Settings, Assignments, Joystick Axes, Slew Mode.W.
