AI Taxi

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. I'm trying to change the AI taxi speed in FS2004 and I can't get any of the utilities to work. I think the problem may be that both FS2002 and FS2004 are installed. The utilites only seem to recognize FS2002 and I don't see a way to point them to FS2004.I've tried AISpeed and TaxiSpeed.Doesn anyone know if it's possible to change this of both sims are installed. Thanks very much!

Hey Carob I was trying to do the same thing this week, and I read on the forums that the Taxi Speed utilities do not work for FS9. I think one of the Utilities states in the "Read Me" file that it works. But it really does not work. If Im wrong someone please correct me because I too want to change the taxi speed of my AI. Hope this helpsRegan

CarobI posted a very similar question here a few weeks ago; the answer is no, unfortunately.MS have hardcoded the AI taxi speed into the programming & both the utils mentioned above only seem to work in FS2002.Hope this helps!Cheers :)Josh

Yeah, I did read on these forums awhile back that people had them working in FS2004. They swore up & down that it worked. They saw great improvement in the speeds. But, I don't know if that was maybe because only FS2004 was installed or not. I guess those of us with both are out of luck.

Well I was reading in the Ultimate Traffic forms about the Taxi speed in FS9, and a guy claims to have been able to get AI Taxi speed to work in FS9. I dont think he ever posted a step by step tutorial on how he got it to work in FS9 though. If you go to the Ultimate Traffic Forums and do a search for "Taxi Speed" You should see the post. You might be able to contact the guy and ask him how he was able to change the taxi speeds in FS9. I hope this helps a liitle bit.Regan
