DirectX Won't Install and CTD

Featured Replies

When installing the 737-8/900 I recieve and error during the DirectX Setup saying the install failed and to refer to the "DXerror.log and DirectX.log." I registered and attempted to fly the aircraft anyway but it causes FSX to CTD when I load the plane. I'm running Vista 32 Bit. Any Ideas? -ETP

bump...
total shot in the dark this, but with Vista?, always try rightclicking on the setup and choose 'run as administrator'

I manually downloaded and installed DirectX 9.0C and that did the trick. Thanks for your help and suggestions!-ETP
