August 5, 201114 yr Friends, I would like to up my memory from 6 gigs to either 9 or 12. Could someone please give me a recomendation for a 1600 frequency memory set, that is available today and will work with this motherboard? I know from building this machine that it can get picky about the memory sticks. Thanks! Colin

August 5, 201114 yr Author As above, I'm running with 6 gigs on a machine with an i920 ocd to about 3.8 ghz. I use a lot of photo scenery (sim saavy) and have been experiencing out-of-memor errors. Would like to give the machine a bit more headrooms. Colin

Would like to give the machine a bit more headrooms. Colin OOM's have nothing to do with physical RAM and 6GB is more than enough for FSX. You need to look somewhere else.Does it happen at a certain spot or just anywhere?
