Takeoff Tables

Featured Replies

Hi Just a short question, (sorry for opening an entire Thread just for that): I searched in the manuals for some tables containing information on Flap settings and Assumed Temp settings for takeoff depending on wheight of the aircraft etc...Is there anything like that in the manuals? I didn't find it. Regards Kevin

Kevin, I've not checked the documetation yet, but I think assumed temps are related to runway length. As each runway is different, it's not really something you can easily put in a chart. You need a program, such as Topcat, to get assumed temps.

Yeah, thats understandable. But I have such tables in a book written for the old NG by PMDG. Since then I searched everywehere for such tables also for other aircraft, but I never found any. Now I hoped that there would be something similiar, more actual...but If those tables don't exist in reality, they don't exist for the NGX.Confused.gif

I think the only time I've ever seen any charts relating to assumed temperature takeoff was in the Vigrin 747 DVD from ITVV. In this case, the chart related to a specific runway at a specific airport (Heathrow). So I'm not surprised they don't have the charts for the NGX!

There should be performance charts in one of the FCOM volumes. As others have stated you will need to add everything up including RWY length, winds, slope, weights etc. It is not tabulated on a RWY per RWY basis. These are the diagrams of the raw data used to derive those RWY specific tables. Hope it helps,
