its been over a day now and i still cant activate.. i know there have been threads on this before and some people were later able to activate but i still get the error about connecting to the activation server. is there anything i can do? i submitted a ticket shortly after i purchased which was when the ddos attacks had happened on release night but still haven't been replied to. i also cant load the product support page are the servers still down?? REALLLY WANT TO FLY THIS THING!

Hi (please sign your name to your posts so we know who you are and can look at your activation logs etc) The activation server's been up since we overcame the attack stuff yesterday afternoon - are you positive you don't have any firewalls or other security software blocking the connection? That's gonna be the most likely thing at this point.

Hi there I too am having the same problem.I sent a ticket to support and they basically said the same as you have here, more likely anti virus or firewall. I removed AVG completely, turned off Windows firewall and windows defender, put all my internet settings to allow everything..... I literally have zero protection running but it still can't connect to the activation server. I must add that the internet is fine and even FSX can connect to update the Jeppson weather with no problem. I am open to any suggestions by anyone! Running Vista 64 bit as administrator with all security, antivirus uninstalled and/or off. PDMG 737 has been de-installed and re-installed several times with various settings and in the end with an exposed system but still no communication with activation server. Any ideas anyone?? Well what do you know.......... out of the blue it just activated without a hitch . Well thanks to anyone that was going to help.
