Hi; I have not purchased "yet". I have heard that a maintenance schedule with failures is possible with NGX. Is it possible to turn this off? Unfortunately, it's not possible to read too much about the aircraft as the manuals are not available for free download such as was the case with the FS9 NG. Thanks, Iain

If you mean random failures based on the time the aircraft is flown and not maintenanced, then yes, you can turn off and on every time. You can even switch every failure on and off every time. Repairing the plane in the air isn't very realistic, but possible. =)
