December 28, 200322 yr I've been using MSFS since 5.1, so I feel I'm pretty experienced with the platform, however I'm having trouble with FS2004. I purchased it when it initialled came out, but after installing it on my Pentium II 1Ghz, 256MB RAM and 64MB Video card, I realized that wasn't going to get it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled FS2002. Now, I just purchased a new laptop for work a Sony Vaio TR2AP3, with a 1Ghz Pentium M, with 1G RAM and a 64MB Video card. Since I boosted the RAM, I thought maybe it would be enough. But I managed to get FS2004 installed and running, but it coninues to crash the computer with changing views multiple times (i.e. spot plane, cockpit, etc). I reduced the settings as much as I could live with and have the settings at 1200x700x16. I downloaded a new driver for the graphics card and still no help. My other games run fine on the machine, but this one still has problems. I'm also running UT with it, but the frame rate isn't affected so I figured it wasn't the traffic. I also have the frame rate set at 20. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this problem? I'm about to uninstall COF, and go back to FS2002...MickeyKLAS
