August 9, 201114 yr Hey guys, I was just about to start an approach on a nice flight from Twin Falls, ID to Reno, NV. I was in VNAV and LNAV descending to FL240 when the winds started causing me to overspeed. I was using real world weather and I have the 'disable turbulence effects' checkbock checked. As soon as I went to correct the overspeed problem the simulation instantly ended crashing to the desktop. Does anyone know what caused this? When encountering FSX's choppy winds what is the best action to take? The flight was so smooth and all of a sudden all hell broke loose and then CTD. Otherwise a brilliant flight I think I will start it over from scratch. I do love this airplane. Thanks all :-) zach alcantar
August 9, 201114 yr Author I was also running Radar Contact 4 at the time, and right as I encountered the overspeed warnings I remember being asked to contact a new ARTCC. Not sure if this is related. zach alcantar
