Browser Config and download problems?

Featured Replies

Greetings I know there have been multiple issues since the NGX release, but I think my issue has not come up. It likely has given my luck, but my searches on the forums haven't yielded the page I need. I sent a support ticket in to PMDG, but I think the years of waiting for the NGX, coupled with my fear that the answer is right in front of my face led me to go ahead and post this just in case someone has a quick fix. Okay, so I purchased the download and got the confirmation. I clicked the link in the email. Now, I know that in the email it said to read the security warning so that the download could execute properly. Problem, is, that the yellow box only contained an exclamation point. There was no text and the box was only like a line long. I tried this on Chrome and on IE9. On multiple downloads, it begins just fine for a few seconds. Then the download transfer rate plummets and ultimately says that it was interrupted. On one occasion, it told me the download had timed out or something. My internet is connected through an LAN ethernet cable, and the connection is doing just fine. It was recently installed since I just moved, but from all I can gather it is running just fine. It's through Comcast and is the Blazin' package so those things lead me to believe that it should be fast enough to at least finish the download. I'm using a Netgear RangeMax router. I set the ie9 security/privacy settings all to minimum and off, turned off the antivirus and the firewall just to be sure, and nothing worked. If this is a blast of another post of a common problem that I somehow didn't see through my forum search, my sincerest apologies. Like I said, I have a ticket in, but just wanted to throw this up there if I could avoid bugging the support staff. Any and all help would be great. Thanks guysWilliam William EzzellKATL
