A question about loading panel states

Today I experienced a strange thing, I started with the a/c in a cold & dark state and then powered it up and started up the engines. Then I decided to go back to a cold & dark state but for some reason the list of saved panel states was all empty but only on the captain's CDU...on the FO's CDU the panel states were there and I could choose to load the cold & dark one. Sorry if this has already been explained or discussed somewhere that I missed, been too busy playing with this incredible piece of software the last few days and now with a TrackIR 5 and TrackClip Pro...can't really get any better I think :(
