August 10, 201114 yr Hi Since i made the recomended modifications in the FSX.CFG (HIMEMFIX = 1, TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD = 4096 and tune the fsx.cfg in http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html) i´m getting this king of strange textures in the exterior views...Any idea? regards
August 10, 201114 yr Looks like the aircraft self-shadowing is turned on? Try turning it off... Go Settings, Aircraft, and uncheck the box with Aircraft casts shadows on itself. James Lunsford
August 10, 201114 yr Commercial Member You have "aircraft casts shadows on itself" selected in options>settings>display Unfortunately, FSX self shadowing is rather chunky, and this is what you are seeing.
