December 31, 200322 yr Taking my Kids down to Pearson tomorrow for some Spotting. Can anyone reccomend where I can obtain Departure/Arrival Listings a day in advance, the Official Pearson site is only good for about 5 hours ahead.Secondly, I know Weather will dictate the Runways in use. Can anyone Reccomend the Best spots for each? I'll be tuning into ATIS on the way down, so will know ahead which runways are in use, Just need to know where to park.Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
December 31, 200322 yr On most days 5/23 and 6R/24L are active. Airport Road runs along the eastern edge of the airport and the threshold for 5 is right there. You will be able to count the rivets on the aircraft if they are landing. If they are departing on 5 you will get a very good view as they line up for take off. Parking is available accross the street as there are a number of businesses along there (including a Tim Hortons if coffee and/or hot chocolate are required.)The outfit I work for frequently has people on this BA flight:BA93 arrives at 14:40, departs as BA92 at 18:00 (747)Have fun!Doug Dawson
