August 11, 201114 yr I actually got the carbon brakes into the yellow landing @KMDW. actually yes, see the introduction, they also get hot but they do not loose their 'grip' as the steel brakes: The primary advantage to carbon brakes however, is that you will not get “brake fade” from extremely hot brakes.
