CTRL W - Chasing Views

Featured Replies

Some days ago I inadvertently hit CTRL W and to my surprise I was transported from my cockpit to some other place. I hit the same keystroke again and the scene changed. Then I looked in fs9 manuals and I found CTRL W is controllng "Chasing views". I understand it might have to see with AI aircraft, but does someone exactly know what is its purpose?Happy New Year!

As you've said, it gives you a chance to see the AI aircraft within range of your current position. It was available in FS2002 also.I sometimes use it to follow an AI aircraft to its destination.

Thank you for your reply. I used FS2002 during all its existence and I was never aware of this possibility. And now, with FS2004, it was only by chance that I found it! I think I have better to go through all the manual if I do not want to loose some useful features.Best Regards,
