'proxyuser.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command

Featured Replies

I run the Start TileProxy as an administrator but it comes up with this.I have disabled that user account control thingy too. 'proxyuser.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

When Windows boots you need to disable the driver check option. Also, no need to run anything As Administrator or disable anything with TP.

And how do i do that?In msconfig?Under which tab?

Hi, No, once Windows is loaded it is too late. You use F8 before windows boots and it is one of the options. For the correct wording and procedure look farther down in this forum.

Windows startup menu: disable driver signing enforcement by using the Windows Boot menu - accessed by pressing F8 (?) as Windows begins to boot.... I press just as the "load from CD?" message fades. But then I have the boot process displayed by enabling in BIOS so I can see the point where Windows starts to boot....otherwise press F8 every few moments during boot up until the menu is shown.
