Nav 1 and Nav 2 radios

Featured Replies

Hope someone can help me--I recently downloaded and installed a 707-351C which is a beautiful plane, along with a 707 panel by Paul Golding. The problem that I am having is that everything but both Nav radio's work.I have to have at least the Nav 1 radio operable so as to be able to do a IFR landing.I went to the aircraft.cfg file and found that the file for this plane is exactly the same as a different plane in which the Nav radio's work.I'm at a lost as to how to fix this problem. All other radio functions are good.I really hope that someone can help me.Both downloades are from our Avsim library. The panel download being pg7072k2. Aircraft.cfg should have a section that looks like this:(Bracket)Radios(Bracket)// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1=1Com.1=1, 1Com.2=1, 1Nav.1=1, 1, 1Nav.2=1, 1, 0Adf.1=1Transponder.1=1Marker.1=1

Sully Agreed, that's exactly what I did and found nothing to be wrong.I'm really stuck. If we can't somwhow straighten this problem out I'll have no c hoice but go back into the Avsim library and try to find another panel, that I hope will be as nice as this one. There must be something that I can do.

This is the way I always fix this:On each line, after the "=1", (I only keep the first # as is (=1)), but then I change all other 1

SullyHaraldh, thank you,am heading to that aircraft file right now.I will change every number after the first to a "O".I really hope this works. Thanks Again

I downloaded it and took a quick look at it and the aircraft.cfg file that comes with it reads:// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1=1Com.1=1, 0Com.2=1, 0Nav.1=1, 0, 1Nav.2=1, 0, 0Adf.1=1Transponder.1=1Marker.1=1PS - I unzipped into a temporary directory and not directly into FS2002. I can't tell where the installer might put that file.

SullyHaraldh it worked.Thank You very much.I now have a great plane with a great panel.

Glad to hear that it worked for you!It would be a lot easier if all aircraft cfg files were ready made here!I always do this changing of numbers as soon as I have downloaded a new aircraft. Then I know that the radios will work if I should want to take a certain aircraft for a ride.It
