Showtext

Never Mind the below, I just found the "Active" command in Showtext was not enabled.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a very new user to RC. I have RC installed on my FSX computer and it works fine. My only problem is the menu commands being displayed by RC. I am 72 years old with very bad eyesight and simply cannot make out the prompts with the red text from RC. I have a full installation of FSUIPC/WIDEFS (Latest versions) on my network and they work fine communicating with each other (i,e, Plan-G and others across network work fine using WIDEFS and have been working for some time). I downloaded Showtext.exe and placed it on the client PC. I start WIDEFS on the client and FSUIPC on the FSX computer shows the connection with WIDEFS on the client. Showtext on the client does not display any data/text/menu coming from RC on the FSX computer. I tried turning off Multi-Messages etc. in FSUIPC on the FSX computer but nothing seems to make it display on the client/Showtext. Do I have to install RC on the client to make the displays work there? Maybe I am missing a key point in the RC manual or the Showtext document. Thanks for any help John
