August 18, 201114 yr FSX gurus, I have three systems @home the main is system is already in my sig and the other two are Sempron 3300+ 2 GB 160 GB and the third is a P4 Prescott 2.8 2GB 80GB had a LCD display which went kaput so currently limited to a single 17" centuries old crt screen. The sempron is running my Linux server for emails / Ipsec / firewall / junk control.The p4 is lying idle. Can I attach one of the systems to use if for fsx ( I am not looking at parrallel computing as only win 2008 supports and my linux, but FSX will not run linux or support parrallel computing) , and if I attach it through my router what can i off load from fsx on to this system , . I know that I can use FSUIPC on the second machine and connect the control surfaces to it but what else can be done.
