The first time I tried to activate the NGX I got the abovementioned error. The second time I tried activating differently and got activated. The first time I booted up FSX and tried loading the NGX for the first time directly from the aircraft menu, with a custom paint and got the activation error. The second time booted up FSX and I loaded the trike first at my airport of choice. I then went back to the aircraft menu and chose the house paint NGX and did not get the activation error. Those having activation issues should try this...
