August 24, 201114 yr I noticed that there are specific programs to set up profiles with included in NVIDIA Control Panel including FSX. Does this do just the same as using Inspector game profiles? Also, when one of the profiles is selected, does it already include parameters and settings recommended for the specific game, or must you enter your own? Thanks. Tom

August 25, 201114 yr Author Thanks NGX.Do you happen to know what settings would correct "shimmering airports"? Most of my scenery graphics are quite smooth, but airports in the distance shimmer and sparkle as well s rivers and lakes. I upped AA and AF to 8X thinking that would take care of it but they did not. I read your post regarding VSYNC. Where do I turn this on and does it help in FSX? Thanks again, Tom
August 25, 201114 yr Try turning down (or off) transparency AA. If you get screen tearing with v-sync off, you can force it on in inspector or you can edit the FSX.cfg to turn it on. There's 2 settings for v-sync cfg.
