August 25, 201114 yr Hi, while trying to set up FSX I have come across lots of posts regarding VSYNC. Is this a benefit to FSX and is it a setting within FSX itself, (I couldn't find it) or is it a NVIDIA setting only? Should it be on or off in FSX? Thanks. Tom
August 25, 201114 yr See my reply to your other post for setting it up. If you get screen tearing, vsync on with replace the "torn" frame by skipping it. That causes stutters in FSX unless you are running it locked to the refresh of your monitor (60Hz=60FPS). However there are other things that create stutters such as the CPU hogs.
