How to speed up the default trike? (Download somewhere?)

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to speed up the trike a little (or a lot)...? I like the trike for checking out Orbx airports but it's too slow to cover longer distances from one airport to another. Now I could of course use time accel but I'd rather give the engine some extra power... I did read on another forum (got there using Google) that someone made a mod but I can't find a download link. Anyone knows how to speed up the trike permanently? Something like double speed would do. For now. ;)

It's very simple to do this yourself, just go into your aircraft.cfg for the aircreation_582SL and change the following lines:

thrust_scalar=2.0 // Original value was 1.0

power_scalar=2.000 //Original value was 1.000

That will let you cruise around 130MPH (112KIAS). When you want to return it to the original state, just change the 2's to 1's again, or make a backup of your aircraft.cfg.

That's simple indeed! And it works like a charm! Thanks! smile.png
