ASE "Force to sim time" problem

Featured Replies

Hei, Somehow ASE isn't using the write time. I am using "Force to Sim time"; normally i would fly the same day but at a former time. So lets say real time is 30 August 21:00 and Sim time is 30 August 11:00. What i see in the "Active Date and Time" field is 30 August 21:00. And the Metar is as well later then 11:00. (ENBR 301825Z, or something). So I guess this is not as it should be, right? I got as well the warning that several stations were suppressed because my clock wasn't set correctly. I am running ASE on a second pc connected via Simconnect. Otherwise everything works fine. I would very much appreciate any help or advice.

Hi, What would be the Z time in FSX? Is it 11Z or something else? Make sure to compare Z times not the local time from FSX. Don't set the time in FSX to a "future time/date" as that causes that station suppression message to appear because ASE doesn't have any data yet.

Hei, Thanks for your reply. Z time would be 9:00. I'm situated in Norway. So there is not much difference in that. If I set ASE to show Z time it tells me the Z time of the computer I'm running ASE on. It feels like as if it makes no difference whether I choose "Force to real time" or "Force to sim time". I will give it another try today.
