Anyone else listen to internet radio for the areas they fly in?...Also like to find real-life general aviation trip reports on the net and fly the trips. How do people like to fly?...

Most often I'm simming in executive aircraft - up to smaller baby B's, and use FDC with ATC chatter in background. Works superb for me.However, when I fly local, small VFR aircraft, I have a small portable "Sporty's" JD100 Air-Scan next to my system, with about 12 freq's plugged in for all the local approach, tower, ATC chatter (channels that I can receive without an antenna). That gives me real-world "noise" as I fly !Until I get called for dinner ...... ! :-outtaRon

When I do longer flights (which I rarely do nowadays), I listen to music CDs :-lolDoesn't exactly enhance the experience but it helps pass the time.On shorter flights with GA planes I just try to do everything as realistically as possible without and special extras.

Yep! Have done so.I use CD's as my pre-flight music, with the logitech keyboard as start stop.I also try and get as much backgroung noises, crew stuff, atc as I can find!Love the cacophony of noise!Got good earphones, good soundcard, good stereo, and just tune in as I fly around the world.
