Painting the 800

Featured Replies

Well i thought i'd try my hand at painting, Im pretty competant with Photoshop which doesnt phase me at all, but after downloading the paint kit and deciding to use the master template im a little confused - Do i crop the kit before painting and pull it together in order to have a full fuselage to paint? Does anyone have any suggestions for high res logos etc? (Brand of the World i know about) I think thats all for now, any help is greatly appreciated. Simon

Simon, You have to paint the master template first, with all sections together (don't move the vertical magnet lines!). When you judge that it's done, you COPY (don't crop) the middle section for example, and PASTE to the fuselage2.dds or something. Remember to "flip vertical" the pasted texture. About logos, I usually make my own based on high res images. One good resource is Google Images, which I can filter by size. It make a pretty good job finding logos.Well, feel free to ask for help, I'd be glad to answer.

Ok! so if i have a string of text that spans the gap (oviously where the 900 fuselage would be) i need to crop the text and move it to the line for the 800?

I'm sorry Simon, I don't follow. Could you explain in other way?
