September 4, 201114 yr Hi- I keep getting this scenery.cfg error. "SCENERY.CFG file error. Local scenery directory (Addon Scenery\SCENERY) in scenery Area.115 not found" I recently uninstalled Megascenery (Reno/Tahoe) so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. The 115 entry is... [Area.115]Title=RenoLocal=Scenery\Cities\RenoLayer=115Active=TRUERequired=TRUE I don't know what the Addon Scenery file has to do with this either. Thanks,Mark PS How do you add screen shots to your post?
September 4, 201114 yr You can always edit your scenery file manually to remove that entry (make a backup first!) To add screen shots to your post: Click the "More reply options" button at the bottom right of your post window, then Click the "Browse" button to select th file you want to attach, then Click the "Attach this file" link, then Click "Add to post", then Click "Preview". Cheers, - jahman.

That area is in the scenery.cfg. I have 2 Bluesky photosceneries in there but they are in the SF bay area.
September 4, 201114 yr What that message says is the "SCENERY" folder in your scenery "Area.115" is missing. Yiu can find scenery "Area.115" either by editing your scenery.cfg file or by going to your Scenery Library config dialog box in FSX and searching for the one scenery area that didn't load (lefhand check box remains unchecked) then you can delete/remove that entry. Cheers, - jahman.
September 5, 201114 yr Unfortunately, when you deleted the MegaScenery (or uninstalled it), it did not remove the entry in the Scenery.cfg. You'll have to go into the Scenery.cfg and manually remove Area 115, then renumber all subsequent Areas/Layers that followed Area 115. MegaScenery usually makes a backup Scenery.cfg during installation and that could still be in the working Scenery.cfg folder but you may have added more scenery since MegaScenery so the old backup is probably no longer valid. The working scenery.cfg is located in C:/Program Data/Microsoft/FSX. Best regards,Jim
