September 5, 201114 yr 1. What usely is the best alt for capture VOR/LOC or dos this not matter if you are on 7000 or 4000(thought maybee if you are to low its harder to get captured) ? 2. Some time master cautions lights bit I cant see any errors in the panel or FMC? 3. Setteing RNW lenght in HGS, is this important, I do not set it and have no problem with the landings ? 4. N1 and Speed in the MCP display, what the difrent, tryed both but seams no diffrent ? 5. Whats the max speed for using "speed break" ? Thx ;)
September 5, 201114 yr Hej Geir, Greetings from Denmark :) 1) This is depicted on your approach chart. You can also see the ALT in the FMS at waypoint CI xx (where xx is the runway header) 2) There is two panels you have to check. one on the captains side and one on the co-pilots side. The sixpacks are different. 3) only important if you're doing an AIII approach 4) N1 will set the A/THR to speed the engines upto the N1 limit.
