"Variant not installed" error in Livery Manager

Featured Replies

Hello there! I'm having trouble trying to install some of the liveries downloaded from PMDG website using the Livery Manager.I downloaded the latest livery files today as well as the most recent Livery Manager. Still the problem persists that I can't install some of the downloaded liveries and I'm getting an error "Variant not installed" instead (see attached screenshot). Other liveries worked flawlessly, but some don't (I also tried running Livery Manager with admin rights as suggested in the FAQs on PMDGs webpage).3 of the liveries I identified as not-working are:Austrian AirlinesAustrian Airlines (Star Alliance)Lauda Air Any ideas what would cause this. P.S.: System is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Hi I see by your screen shot your aircraft config file is missing from your 800NGX WL folder. Near the top of the Forum page isa pinned section for installing add-on liveries. Look through that you will find another file to install to get your config back. I had a little trouble with mine but this section help. Cheers Brett Nicholls
