Load saved panels in flight ?

Featured Replies

For those into EXPERIMENATION :_ Anyone tried to load a saved Panel configuration when in Flight -- say at FL310 ?? Interesting effect -- Not quite a blackout -- more a RED OUT !!! I was surprised it allowed me to be so stupid as to attempt that !!

I have done it often. I saved a flight on route to practice landing and always load the flight and then the saved panel state with no problems. Peter Rowan

I must have been "unlucky" --- I got a RED SCREEN -- will try it again ...... As you point out, it would make good sense to allow a panel reload in flight, so one could keep repoducing/ practicing an in-flight procedure, from a know configuration.
