problems when starting up FS9

hii am experiencing some strange things since recently. i am unaware of what could have caused it and how to solve it, but it is nasty.whenever i start FS9, the scenery configuration dialog begins to "building database for new scenery files ... " what ever. the problem is that i have not installed any addtional sceneries. it does it always.i understand that FS9 hast to perform it when i install a new afcad file or a new scenery, but not always.any idea or help out there?thanks in advanceMartin
