Resample for FS9 is part of the FS2004 terrain sdk. It is used for creating bgl files based on raster (regularly spaced data points) data. The resample program runs a sampling function so that the data in the bgl are aligned with the FS2004 terrain LOD system dimensions. The data that can be used are:terrain elevation (mesh/DEM)landclass definitionswaterclass definitionsseasons definitionsregions definitionscustom (photo terrain) landclass, seasons, and regions definitions work together as "selectors" for terrain bitmap tileswaterclass definitions work the same way, but with no other files used for the "selector"custom replaces the terrain bitmap tiles with custom tiles, typically sliced from aerial photo. It is a developer option to have custom also work with seasons definitions to allow for seasonal custom tile variation. scott s..

Do you mean the source data, or how the data are stored in the bgl? The source data is explained fairly well in the sdk. There are many tools out there that can convert elevation data in various formats as commonly found for download on the net into a compatible format for resample, and also how to set up the parameters for resample. scott s..

Dick (Rhumbaflappy) I think mainly hangs out on fsdeveloper.com, and I think he would know if anyone, or at least know who knows. You might also try here on the scenery forum. scott s..
