HiI recently bougth Carenado's grand caravan for fsx and i love it.But i wander where is the Inverter supposed to be in the panel as it is written in the Before starting engine to check it is off. another questions - where can i find more explanation about the colors of the weather radar?

There shouldn't be an inverter and I haven't seen one either. The avionics setup in Carenado's model doesn't need an inverter. If it had the King KFC-250 autopilot/gyro system installed, the autopilot computer, horizontal gyro and the vertical gyro require 115V/400Hz AC. FedEx installed the KFC-250 system at one point back in the days on some Caravans in order to get CAT II approach approval, which they later banned for financial reasons. The avionics we have are completely vacuum or 28V DC driven. So if your checklist has an inverter in it, it is incorrect for this setup. Br,Tero

Thanks.I found the POH of the cessna grand caravan and learn that not all models are equipped with the inverter.It is a pitty that carenado didnt make a checklist suitable for their model ...but after reading about turboprop engines and also some about the caravan i learned about the checklist better.
