September 15, 201114 yr When I use ASE for flights into Aerosoft's LPMA (madiera), the wind goes around in circles. Tried it several days on the trot now but always, as I get down to around 2000ft or so, the wind direction starts rotating full clockwise circles, taking 3-4 seconds per 360* rotation, and just keeps going. Makes for VERY interesting approches I can tell you. Any ideas what might be going on? September 15, 201114 yr Hi, What happens if you disable the scenery and just use default scenery there?
September 15, 201114 yr Author Hi Jim Just tried - same problem with default FSX LPMA. Also tried another aircraft in case of NGX issue - same. Really odd. Looks quite funny though while using Flightsim Commander, as the little wind arrow just keeps rotating like a fast clock Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
September 16, 201114 yr Author If anyone has any ideas what may cause this, I'd be extremely grateful to hear? Is it likely to be a fault within ASE itself - I've no idea how it actually works it's magic...? September 16, 201114 yr Hi, At the moment I don't, but it could be from neighboring stations, but that wouldn't explain the spinning.
