Strange light issue

Recommended Posts

I have an interesting issue with the dome light (not quite sure which one). I'm using fsuipc4 to generate key combo presses from the CH system's buttons. All mcp knobs are set to different CTRL+SHIFT+* combinstions via the CDU PMDG menu. All working wonderful, except the Alt Dec function, I've tried out 3-4 diff key combinations (even with just one single key eg. N) to make sure its not a conflicted control, but every time I press my joy button assigned for Alt Dec, one of the dome lights go on. I' not sure which one, since the switch does not do anything. Its just the light coming on. the most interesting thing is, it only happens airborne... Or at least not at the SHORT panel state startup. Pressing the Alt Inc button, everything is fine, pressing the Dec, light on, next press off. I've checked fsuipc, there is nothing assigned for that button, only with the Aircraft specific checked NGX. If I use the mouse to set the Alt, its all fine. Probably its not an NGX issue, but I'd rather give it a try here, hoping for some advises.Any ideas, or anybody having similar issues? Thanks

I have an update, it only occurs with either of the two engines running. Its not a BUS problem, tried it with APU, same thing if I have an engine running, I get the light turning when turning the ALT knob left (Dec). I'm not even aware of which light it is, I only hear a button click, but can't sort out what happens. How can this be related to the engines ? :)
