September 20, 201114 yr In my new set-up I want to relegate my oldish 19" 4:3 ViewSonic to displaying my EFB. I'm not familiar with how the 16:9 format displays FSX, web pages or documents. Feedback would be appreciated. I'm about ready to purchase this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236112&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL092011&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL092011-_-EMC-092011-Index-_-LCDMonitors-_-24236112-L016B which is on sale this week for $159.99 w/rebate. Does anyone have experience with Asus monitors? September 20, 201114 yr In the [Display] section of your fsx.CFG you need to find the setting WideViewAspect=False and change it to WideViewAspect=True, 2D panel gauges will still not be exactly round, but then again who flies with 2D panels these days when the VC cockpits are so spectacular and render wonderfully on 16:9 displays like you are about to get! :Big Grin: Cheers, - jahman.
