The "export to flightsim" functionality of TOPCAT is apparently not compatible with the hotfix updater. So if you have used that you will have to (well, I had to anyway) follow the instructions at http://forum.avsim.net/topic/349628-cfg-versions-not-updated-after-hf4-how-to-fix/ to install the hotfix 4.

The export to NGX function in "Topcat" should not be used regardless. Topcat data should be entered manually. The hotfix has now been updated to delete aircraft configs during install, so makes your comment redundant
