Does any one know where I can get a copy of the learjet 45 flight manual? I have looked for 3 days now. I went to some site and it did not have learjet. I hope some one out there can help. I would like to build a learjet cockpit. I am going to do it step at a time. I needs lots of money for this project....:)

Try www.esscoaircraft.com. I looked at their website quickly and didn't see a Lear 45 listed, but it could be there and i missed it. Also, it says if you don't see something listed to call and ask. I know people have used this company before and been satisfied with what they paid for, so it might be worth your time to look. Have you checked Ebay? Often they have manuals for various aircraft up for auction. Also, if you can't find what you're looking for online, try calling Learjet (Bombardier) directly and asking if they have them for sale. I know that the smaller GA companies like Cessna and Piper will sell PIM's directly to the public, but I don't know if you can find them for bizjets or not. Good luck in your search! -Rob

I just got off the phone with www.esscoaircraft.com and they didn't have a learjet 45, but a 55. What is the differance between the two?

The 45 is a newer aircraft. It is more advanced than the 55 in terms of what you'll find in the cockpit. If you're looking to build something with a glass cockpit, then a 55 is not what you're looking for. The 55 has a more traditional cockpit and is slightly smaller than a 45. If you want to compare the two, go to airliners.net and look at some pictures as well as the reference section.-Rob
