January 19, 200422 yr Hey Guys,I sincerely apologize for asking this question, I know that it has probably been answered, but I am honestly unable to find the solution to my problem, so I have decided to go for a more direct approach. I have downloaded numerous packages and when I go to select the aircraft there is a message like the one shown in my picture below. Anyone who knows how to alleviate this problem, I would be great indebted.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/58531.jpgRegards,
January 19, 200422 yr Open the fs9.cfg file (see the faq for where to find it) and add a section called (Old modules) (use square brackets) then in old modules add the linea320.gau=1 All this can be done easily if you download the small program fsconfigurator here at avsim.I haven't had to do this in FS9, but this is what worked in FS2002.RegardsBlairCYOW
January 19, 200422 yr Thanks a lot!I assume that this will also allow the gauges to work as well, instead of just disabling them? Thanks so much!
January 19, 200422 yr Unfortunatly Blair,I tried what you said and added,(OLDMODULES)FSSound.dll=1A320.gau=1airbus.mA320.gau=1The FSSound.dll message disappeard from the start, but I am still unable to load the A320 without the warnings.Regards,
January 19, 200422 yr Hey Guys,Sorry to keep bringing this up, but I really have no idea why this is not working, should I put it under an {Old Gauge} file or what? Oh the joys of flightsim.Regards,
January 19, 200422 yr I'm afraid I don't know what to suggest then. That's worked for me in the past, but as I said, I haven't had a gauge problem in FS9 yet.Someone else want to chip in?Blair
January 19, 200422 yr Do you have the patch for the A320 installed? I'm talking about the FS9 patch that PSS released then subsequently pulled. If you don't have that patch installed then I think you will get that message.Unfortunately, PSS has pulled it because of some bugs and they plan to release an FS9 installer in the future. If you can't wait, then PM me and maybe I can send it to you.
January 19, 200422 yr Author Try adding the location of the gauge:gaugesA320.gau=1gaugesA320A320.gau=1This will not fix a problem that might reside within the gauge, however.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
