October 8, 201114 yr Hi, I've flown many long haul with MD11 cf6 pax without problem until this: Planning a Anchorage - Brisbane flight, I've encountered a fuel problem during the trip. After 6 hours, near the Japan coastlines, A 'CG out of range occurs'.Looking the fuel management I see the cause which is un unbalanced quantities between central tank and wings ones.So the system switch to manual. I must fill fill the central tank from others to recover the correct CG.When done, I turn system to AUTO and then the central tank refill the wings and the CG goes out of range again.Tail tanks are empty at this time. Could you help me please. Best RegardsPierre
October 9, 201114 yr Did you set "Failures" on off? If yes, try to start a flight with a default plane and then start FS again. Then back to your MD11. This could help. If no, you've tried to set it back to automatic change it back to manual and use crossfeed first from the main tank (assuming you had only main and wing tanks with fuel). When the failure was generated by the system it should work fine with the next flight. If not, try the option written above. John
