can't get Project Fokker 100 to work in FS9

Featured Replies

Hi all can anyone tell me the trick to getting this aircraft to work in Fs9 because i have follwed the instructions on their website to the letter but whenever i select the aircraft in FS9 it crashes to desktop. I have deleted the FSUIPC module as they say along with the gauge (whose name I forget) but there must be something else I am missing??

The tricky part is to change your PANEL.CFG to default Boeing 737-400. Do not install a panel provided from Project Fokker as it won't work. Good Luck,

Hi,Write me an E-mail and I'll send you my modified panel for PF100/70.It was a lot of work to find out what works and what doesn't but now I'm happy with the [email protected]

Well, this is all very interesting as I have the 100/70 AC installed in FS9 with the 100/70 panel, and all is working very well. As mentioned on the Fokker web site, one might experience a CTD for two reasons.1. Replacing the partially functioning clock with a newer clock file provided by Fokker.2. Using the default SEI guage in the 100/70 panel.I did experience CTD's due to the above problems, so I re-installed the default clock, which only counts up from 45 seconds to 00, and stops. I also deleted the SEI gauge from the guage folder. As a side note, I recently purchased FSUIPC and have experienced no problems at all with it, even though Fokker recommends not using it. I even re-installed the SEI gauge as an experiment, and no CTD's yet. I'm going to try the new clock file as well and see what happens.YMMV.Chris

Anyone know if the Project Fokker folks plan to do a real FS9 update which won't require file editing & swapping, and which will have an FS9-compatible FDE?(Even if you get this one working on FS9, the flight dynamics are really different than they are in FS2K.)
