October 22, 201114 yr Hi; I'm putting together a new set-up and will be using three computers networked with WIN 7. One computer will have FSX (solely), the other PC Sim Avionics flight software (running 6 screens in the main FDS MIP), and the third PC will have aivlasoft flight navigation bag and active sky evolution SP3 installed. My reason for this is to allow the CPU on the FSX machine to power FSX and not all the little extras! My question; What are your thoughts about installing AI My Traffic 5.2b on the third PC. Do you think this will make a difference to the allocation of memory, etc to FSX, or is it not worth worrying about. Thank you, Iain WilloW (YMHB) flaps2approach.comB737-800 simulator
October 22, 201114 yr The only thing you will save is disk space. FS still has to do ALL the work. It will not improve your FSX experience one single bit!

October 22, 201114 yr Putting the AI on a SD drive helps , as it improves load time, especially when you have heaps. I use WOAI, installs to its usual folder, then all copied to a SD drive, and then i changed the FSX config to point to that folder, less stutters now when AI loading.
