When you are on the ground, hold the F2 key down and reverse thrust will be applied. That works best for me...-John

Lower throttle to minimum and press the key for reduce thrust (ussually F2). Note that ANY increse of throttle setting, by keyboard or game controller, will cancel reverse thrust. If your game controller is miscalibrated in a manner which results in the DirectPlay routines inputing anything less than a zero reading reverse thrust will not be avilable. A noisy controler axis that momentarily feeds a nonzero reading to the simulator will also cancel reverse thrust.
